ZGrass: Bluegrass on IPTV
The Bluegrass Music Channel LLC is working to launch ZGrass in April of 2009. ZGrass will provide bluegrass music video content, both music videos and concert performances, to IPTV networks worldwide.
The website is currently live with a small offering of audio content provided by the Tennessee Gentlemen. The company plans to be streaming video content worldwide by April 1, 2009.
IPTV is digital television content provided via a broadband internet connection. This content is often provided by the internet service provider as part of a package of services called “Triple Play,” which includes IPTV, VoIP and Internet access.
The channel will broadcast bluegrass 24/7 worldwide through a number of ISP agreements.
ZGrass is currently seeking video content for their channel. If you have video footage, to which you own the rights and are willing to supply for redistribution, they would love to hear from you.
We can color correct, audio correct, and clean up a lot of old footage but would prefer to have Beta SP or Pal to edit for broadcast. We can also convert a DVD for broadcast, but remember, the quality is not as good as tape.
Their contact page includes an email link if you would like to contact them concerning footage you wish to submit.
