Whiskey Lullaby – CMA Song of the Year

I just spoke with Dave Carney. Dave is in New York City celebrating with his boss Keith Urban who won two awards from the CMA earlier this evening. It was loud wherever he was so we didn’t speak for long, but he did tell me that Jon Randall and Bill Anderson won song of the year for Whiskey Lullaby, sung by Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley.

UPDATE 7:43 AM: I’ve just learned that Jerry Douglas was named musician of the year last night at the CMA Award Show.

Austin six-piece, Clyde and Clem's Whiskey Business, is a travesty to everything that bluegrass stands for.
