Vicki Simmons Benefit Concert

Hello Everyone;

Let me just say that I am so thankful for everyone that participated and attended the show Sunday November 16th to help out my friend Vicki Simmons. Without a great team there is no way that any of this to happen. Whether you cooked, volunteered your time, donated items for the auction or played on the show; you can rest assured that you did your part and I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We have over 600 people come and go throughout the day in audience attendance, with a lot of them participating in the Silent Auction. The music ran from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. And we still had quite a few people in the audience right until the last note rang throughout the rafters of the Old Barn. I can’t tell you how my heart swelled with pride for my dear friend Vicki; knowing that the reason everyone was there was to show their respect and love for her.

Last but not least I just want to say a personal Thank You to all of the people in the music community for sharing their talents with all of us. I am always touched by their generosity to help out a fellow musician; and when you look at the line up of entertainers we had on this event it’s plain to see how much respect and love they too have for my dear friend of over 25 years!

I wish that all of you could have experienced the buzz of excitement behind the scenes back stage and in Heritage Hall where a lot of the musicians renewed old friendships and made new ones. It’s exactly the kind of thing that Vicki thrives on and we were lucky enough to have her with us experiencing it. She did great and was so excited to see everyone. Her health has greatly improved and with everyone’s efforts we can rest a little easier knowing that we did our part to help that continue.

Thank you again – and may God Bless You Always…In All Ways!

Okay – is everyone ready? Here we go!

We raised $11,200 in all throughout the day!!!

Everyone should take pride in the fact that you did a great service for a worthy cause.

You may send any future donations to:
