Unplugged Demos
We told you two weeks ago about Thomas Wywrot joining the Isaacs on banjo and guitar, and we have just heard from departing member Troy Engle with some news of his current endeavors.
His is a story familiar to a good many young musicians who face a choice about coming off the road…
“My decision to leave the Isaacs was due to a hectic tour schedule of 170 dates a year, and a need to be home more in Nashville to raise my two small children.”
Since leaving The Isaacs, Troy has teamed up with Justin Carbone, guitarist/vocalist with Special Consensus, to form a new recording business named Unplugged Demos.
“We are a one stop shop for bluegrass/acoustic songwriters who need demos of their original material. We do all of the mixing and recording in house, to provide the songwriters an affordable, professional sounding demo.”
Since Troy and Justin both are highly capable multi-instrumentalists, they can produce a full band demo with vocals at rates they think will be very attractive to songwriters.
