Tyler Williams & Overdrive Bluegrass live at Gages Restaurant and Bluegrass Showplace!!

TYLER WILLIAMS & OVERDRIVE

THE OVERDRIVE BLUEGRASS BAND. From Left to Right: Meredith Goins, Jared Hensley, Tom Cecil, Dwayne Anderson, and Tyler Williams in front

A hot new bluegrass group who uses speed, drive, and taste to captivate each audience for which they perform this group is made up of a group of young folks from different parts of the country who knows about bringing a new meaning to the word bluegrass. The members met in college at East Tennessee State University at local jam sessions held on campus. After realizing the potential for the creation of a band, they put there heads (and their instruments) together, and with that formed Tyler Williams & OverDrive. The band is made up of Tyler Williams on lead vocals and guitar; Jared Hensley on Lead Guitar, Mandolin, and vocals; Meredith Goins on fiddle and vocals; Tom Cecil on banjo, guitar, and vocals; Dwayne Anderson on bass and vocals. When seeing and hearing Tyler Williams sing and perform on stage, tears will come to your eyes and the hair on your neck will raise. The power and strength of this young mans voice is one you will never forget as you see Tyler became blind as an infant and also suffers from mild cerebral palsy, but seeing him on stage you will definitely see nothing is holding him back for what he loves to do most. Along with the rest of the members of this band you are in for a show of a lifetime and one you don’t want to miss.
