They perform Out Of The Rain, Down To The River and Old Cook Pot from their 2006 release, Migrations, and discuss the project, their sound and some of their musical influences.

The Duhks recently received a nomination for Roots & Traditional Album Of The Year from the JUNO Awards. Winners will be announced on April 1, 2007. They won last year for their eponymous debut release on Sugar Hill.

Destination festival Merlefest has just announced it’s artist lineup for 2007. The event is scheduled to be held April 26-29, 2007. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday November 14, 2006 at 2:00 PM EST.

Remember that this line up is subject to revision between now and next April. Personally I’m glad to see a nice collection of strait up bluegrass represented at next year’s festival.
