Stelling Banjo Anthology CD

Geoff Stelling tells me that while his new Stelling Banjo Anthology CD isn’t set to be released until November 8 on Rebel Records, he will have copies available at IBMA this week, and that they can be ordered from the Stelling web site.

This is an anthology CD – as the title proclaims – using nine different banjo pickers, each with their own rhythm section. The unifying theme, also in the title, is that they all recorded with Stelling Banjos. 21 instrumentals are included, featuring the banjo work of Bill Emerson, Alan Munde, Keith Arneson, Casey and Murphy Henry, Alvin Breeden, Ned Luberecki, Chris Warner, and Geoff Stelling.

Online audio doesn’t seem to be available yet, but there is a track listing on Janet Davis’ web site.
