Skype guitar lessons with Russ Barenberg
Nashville flatpicker Russ Barenberg is accepting private guitar students online.
Guitarists anywhere in the world can sign up for lessons using Skype, free software that enables two-way video/audio chat. You can download Skype, but will need a video-enabled computer and either a built-in or aftermarket video cam.
Russ has released a number of fine CDs that feature his original compositions and his creative, often understated guitar playing. He has also been involved with influential groups like Fiddle Fever and landmark recordings like Skip, Wobble & Hop. Homespun has produced a number of instructional tapes and videos where he shares his wisdom with flatpickers.
