I was impressed by Pam Gadd when she worked with the New Coon Creek Girls. What stood out for me was her banjo playing. I've heard them all and Pam is the only other player that had the little bounce in her playing that Little Roy Lewis has. Truly a very happy banjo. When she worked with Wild Rose she played little banjo (at least on stage) and when she did it was for just doing something crowd pleasing like Foggy Mtn. Breakdown.

This is a very talented woman who can bring a maturity to our music both through writing and performing. How she walks that fine line between creativity and commercialism will be interesting to follow.

Nice to see Jeff Roberts get a mention; he's a great picker who's pretty much unknown outside of the Cincinnati area. Benefit Of Doubt is far and away the best album Pam's done yet.
