Nothin’ Fancy’s Chris Sexton to release new CD

Coffee At Midnight is the title of Nothin’ Fancy fiddler Chris Sexton’s upcoming solo project on Pinecastle, due for release on October 11. The Nothin’ Fancy web site assures us that despite the mid-October release date, copies of the CD will be available at the Nothin’ Fancy Bluegrass Festival in late September in Buena Vista, VA.

The CD appears to be primarily instrumental with a few vocal numbers as well, and features his Nothin’ Fancy bandmates along with guest artists Dudley Connell, Kenny Smith, Emory Lester, Sally Love and Mark Schatz, with Gary Ferguson producing.
