I’ll listen to samples of it and see if I like it. I didn’t like the Money Land album. It seems he puts money in his album titles and his face on money and then there was that album with “The Company” in the title and them at a table like they were bank people. I’ve had the feeling Del has turned Money-Hungry. Maybe that’s why there’s a backlash now. With the economy the way it is he shouldn’t be so concerned with having money on everything. I think he ought to wait a while before putting out 50 songs in one album. I’m a bluegrassblog reader and have never posted before but I do feel strongly about this. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Carl

I AGREE. HE USED TO BE BLUEGRASS BUT NOW YOU SEE HIM WITH A TUBA AND PLAYING GUITAR ON STAGE WITH BANDS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY KIND OF MUSIC AND HIS SIRIUS SHOW HAS ALWAYS BEEN
UN-NATURAL SOUNDING SO I QUIT LISTENING TO IT. AGAIN I AGREE ABOUT THE MONEY OBSESSION. ITS JUST TOO MUCH TO BE A FLUKE.

Its common knowledge that Del makes well over a million $ a year. If I made that much a year I would put my face on a silver dollar and put it on MY albums and thats all I would be talking about too! : ) He told about that when he was campaigning for John Edwards.

After thinking about it, I don’t think I will buy anything from somebody with the gaul to put their face on a silver dollar or a fifty cent piece or whatever it is. Especially now. That’s arrogant. We don’t need that. At all. Especially when he’s out there telling everybody how there’s a farm going under every 30 minutes and was voting for Edwards. I would be interested to see how many fund raisers he has done for farmers. Anybody got any information about that out there? I agree with KYBGRASS420. Too much greed there for me.
