New CD from Remington Ryde

We are once again being overwhelmed with new CDs – and word of new releases – and hope to get caught up on all that over the next few weeks. They are coming in from all over the world. It must be the beginning of bluegrass season!

Remington Ryde - The RydeThe Ryde is the latest project from Remington Ryde, based in Hershey, PA. They maintain a busy schedule throughout the mid-Atlantic region and host a 3 day festival each July in Reedsville, PA.

The band specializes in original music that retains the feel of the traditional bluegrass its members grew know and love. 9 of the 14 tracks on the new CD were written within the band.

The group consists of on guitar and vocals, Danny Stewart on mandolin, Wally Yoder on bass, and Billy Lee Cox on banjo.

Audio samples from The Ryde can be heard on the band’s MySpace page and on their official web site.

Two new CDs: Tim Carter and Tommy Webb

Both projects have their roots in the rich, fertile "bluegrass crescent" that encircles eastern Kentucky and Tennessee along with western Virginia and North Carolina. Tim Carter, along with...
