Naperville Bluegrass Jam Camp Friday March 27

I will be conducting a bluegrass jam camp from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select in Naperville, IL in conjunction with the bluegrass festival.  If you have never jammed or are looking for ways to become more comfortable in a jam, this camp will be beneficial to you.  Open to all players of guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, and dobro.  We will cover backup, soloing, knowing your role in a jam, and much more.  To register for the camp, please call Keith Yoder at 563-543-8933 or contact me at yograss@yousq.net.  Your $75 registration will also get you a weekend picking pass for the festival.

I have been teaching music full-time since 1994 and have conducted several jam camps in addition to teaching at numerous workshops.  I have been the jam coordinator the last two years at Steve Kaufman’s Acoustic Camps and will be again this summer.  Make plans to come to the jam camp and be prepared to play a lot and have a great time!
