MSNBC overlooked albums of 2005

MSNBC.com has posted a story listing six overlooked albums of 2005. Interestingly, 2 of them are bluegrass and a third is closely related.

The second CD on the list is Danny Roberts, Mandolin Orchard. Third is NewFound Road, Somewhere Between. And Fourth is Jon Randall, Walking Among the Living.

While MSNBC may consider these CDs “overlooked,” we don’t feel like the bluegrass community ignored them. Still, it’s good press and bluegrass could use some of that. So I hope all these guys sell a few records because of this story.
