Tickets for Merlefest 2006 go on sale to the general public this coming Tuesday at 2 PM EST. Advance ticket sales for reserved seating has now closed.

the Box Office will reopen on November 8 at 2:00 PM EST to the general public for purchase of all types of tickets and passes…The Box Office will remain open until April 24, 2006. All ticket refunds of any nature, reserved seating, camping, general admission, etc., must be postmarked no later than March 24, 2006. There will be no refunds issued after this date.

2006 will be the 19th year of the event celebrating the music of the late Merle Watson and his father Doc Watson. The festival takes place on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC on April 27 – 30, 2006
