Lonesome River Band in the studio
Sammy Shelor tells us that Lonesome River Band is in the studio this week tracking material for a new CD on Rural Rhythm Records. They are cutting at Mountain Fever Studio in Riner, VA.
“In the last two days we have laid down the starting tracks for 10 songs and hope to pick the remaining 2 or 3 today.
Brandon Rickman and Andy Ball have picked some great old and new songs for the project. We have songs from Marvin Clark, Kevin Deney, Mel Tillis, Jonathan Edwards, Brandon and others slated for the project. Stay tuned for more updates.”
Rural Rhythm is hoping for a May release for the as yet unamed album.
Sammy promised to send some photos from the studio later today, which we’ll post as soon as we get them.
