Kindred Records Signs Label Deal With Tommy Webb

Irvine, Ky (Feb. 26, 2007) – Kindred Records is pleased to announce the signing of bluegrass artist Tommy Webb, from Langley, Kentucky. Tommy’s new CD “Eastern Kentucky”, produced by Ron Stewart, is scheduled for a May release. The first single, “If It Weren’t for Bluegrass Music I’d Go Crazy” will be released on Prime Cuts Of Bluegrass, Volume 86, in mid-March.

“Eastern Kentucky” includes a number of Tommy’s original songs, plus songs written by Larry Cordle, Robert Bowen, Dottie Rambo, Pete Goble, Eddie Hill, Ralph Stanley, and others. This is Tommy’s second album, following his 2005 self-released “Now That You Are Gone”, also available now on Kindred.

Radio promotions for the release will be handled by Lindsay Reid, formerly of Sugar Hill Records.

Tommy’s traditional sound and songwriting ability are a perfect fit for Kindred, as we expand our catalog of Kentucky artists. He is fairly unknown beyond the hills of Eastern Kentucky, but with his powerful, soul-stirring voice and a new but traditional sound, he shouldn’t stay unknown for long.

Tommy is currently looking for dates to fill his 2007 schedule. For more information and the latest news visit www.tommywebb.fanspace.com or www.kindredrecords.com
