Into The Blue: Classic Hour
Award winning bluegrass radio show Into The Blue has announced a new feature. The second hour of each show will now be known as Classic Hour. The focus during Classic Hour will be directly on first and early second generation bluegrass performers and recordings.
In case you’re wondering which artists might be examples of first and second generation artists, here is a quote from the press release sent out by Terry Herd, host of Into The Blue.
From Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs and the Stanley Brothers, to Red Allen, J.D. Crowe and The Country Gentlemen, the Classic Hour celebrates the roots of bluegrass and brings back a time when families gathered to enjoy each others company in the presence of great music.
Into The Blue is carried on over 200 affiliate stations weekly.
