In southern New England this weekend….

This Sunday afternoon, November 18th, the Canterbury (CT) Historical Society presents a very big afternoon of traditional Bluegrass & old time country music.
Performers include MA native DAVID PETERSON & 1946, as well as an old time country trio, the BRISTOL BOYS, and eastern CT favorites, SHADY CREEK.

The show will be held at the Plainfield Town Hall Community Room, 8Community Ave., Plainfield CT 06374. Plainfield is conveniently
located in eastern CT just off of Interstate 395 (approx. 20 miles north ofFoxwoods & the Mohegan Sun Casinos). Directions are below. Doors open
at 12:30PM — the music starts at 1:30PM. Tickets are $20 at the door, but if you live in or near eastern CT, you might consider visiting the Canterbury Public Library on Saturday, 11/17 (their hours are 10AM-4PM). Tickets are available there that day for $15 each.

The Canterbury Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and a good portion of the proceeds from this show will go toward our
various projects, including the restoration of a one-room district schoolhouse in Canterbury. If you’d like to learn more about our mission and events, please visit our website: www.canterburyhistorical.org.

Please consider joining us for this very special event! If you have questions, call (860)546-9062 or (860)237-1243.
