Banjo music, (ie bluegrass) is frequently used by radio &quot;shock jocks&quot; as background for stories about redneck and hillbilly misbehavior. &quot;Deliverance&quot; was really the ground-zero for this slur on the music. 

I will say it is commendable that the Springer show thought enough to use live music.</description>
