I Want Some TARP

Bill ZuckerOK… silly song time here on The Bluegrass Blog.

Miami-based singer/songwriter Bill Zucker wrote a song about a topic much in the news these days, the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), otherwise described as the “700 billion dollar bailout plan” passed last year by the US Congress to rescue troubled banks and lending institutions.

The title says it all… I Want Some TARP. The YouTube video was played on a recent broadcast of Power Lunch on CNBC, and it has become a national sensation.

The song has a mildly bluegrass flavor, so without further ado…
