Grascals reach beyond their base
The Grascals have just learned that they have a single shipping to country radio.
But it’s not from their current CD. It’s a track they recorded with Hank Williams Jr. for his new new release, 127 Rose Avenue.
The song, All The Roads, is a Hank Jr. composition that he cut with bluegrass backing, courtesy of the Grascals. It’s an infectious, bouncy track that has already been mentioned positively in a number of early reviews. The instrumentation is solid bluegrass (with drums), and even features Hank trading lead vocal lines with The Grascals’ Jamie Johnson.
Hank Jr. has a poll on his web site where you can vote on which is your favorite track from his new CD. You can hear All The Roads and the rest of 127 Rose Avenue on Rhapsody.
The Grascals are also excited about being tapped to open a string of shows in Arizona for John Prine this fall.
