Grascals on WGN
The Grascals will be performing live today (8/29) on the News at Noon program on Chicago’s WGN TV. WGN is carried on most US basic cable packages and many satellite packages as well.
They will be highlighting songs from their new CD, Keep On Walkin’ which has been a fixture on the Billboard bluegrass chart since its release.
Look for The Grascals on WGN at noon central time on Friday, August 29. WGN posts many video clips from the News at Noon show online, so keep an eye out there if you miss them live.


We have posted a few times recently about the upcoming release from The Grascals, Long List of Heartaches, due on August 29 from Rounder Records. There are no audio samples available yet online, but starting today, XM Radio subscribers will have a chance to hear the entire album on satellite radio.

This Friday (6/20) offers two good chances to catch bluegrass artists online.
From noon to 1:00 p.m. (EDT), The Grascals will be performing live on Knoxville, TN station WDVX's Blue Plate Special. The station broadcasts at 89.9 FM in the Knoxville market, and the show is streamed online at WDVX.com.

The Grascals will be part of a Friday broadcast on GAC TV, captured live at the CMA Music Fest in Nashville.
The band's web site says that the show is on at 8:00 and 11:00 p.m. on June 15, but the GAC site shows 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. It may repeat the same show again at 8:00. GAC should be running...
