You are correct, I do have the pro version of QT. Your original solution is the answer then.

I’ll bet you have QuickTime Pro, not just the free web plug in. The “Save As Source” option shows as only available in QT Pro for me.

The “Save As Source” option worked just fine for me.

One thing, you do have to wait for it to completely load in the browser before the option become available. If you attempt to save it before it has finished downloading into your browser window, the option to “Save As Source” will be grayed out.

I just watched it play to the end, and then selected that option and saved it.
