Free! Berlin Maryland Fiddlers Convention Sep. 25 – Sep. 27
Three days of free, live bluegrass music, sponsored by the Berlin, MD Chamber of Commerce.
Bluegrass musicians from all over the country will compete for $3,400 in cash prizes -
Adult & Youth Fiddle, Banjo, Guitar, mandolin and Bluegrass competitions. The winning band will be invited back to perform as next year’s opening act.
The event takes place on Main Street in historic Berlin, MD (just a few miles west of Ocean City, MD.)
SCHEDULE:
Friday 7 – 8 pm SARAH BETH and COMPANY (last year’s winners).
8 – 10 pm the FITZMAURICE BAND.
Saturday 10 am – registration
11 am to 5 pm BLUEGRASS COMPETITION
Sunday 12 – 2 pm
Bluegrass gospel music at the Taylor House Museum
