Fifth Annual March Mandolin Festival

We told you about this festival last year in it’s forth term. Apparently it was again successful and the organizers are continuing it again this year. The festival is scheduled to be held at the Concord Community Music School in Concord, NH on March 3-4, 2007.

The mandolin festival includes group lessons, workshops, jam sessions, and an evening concert by faculty. The instructors this year are Matt Flinner, Skip Gorman, Keith Murphy, and David Surette.

Cost to register is $100 and can be paid by sending a check made out to:

Concord Community Music School
23 Wall St., Concord, NH 03301

A special festival rate for lodging has been negotiated with the Courtyard Marriott Hotel for the price of $99. You can contact the hotel directly at 603-225-0303.

Information about the festival can be obtained by calling the school at 207-384-8151 or 603-228-1196.

Addition information about the instructors, as well as the schedule for the festival is available at the Mandolin Cafe.
