EWOB ‘06 names European Band of the Year
2006 was a good year for the Italians and the Dutch during the European World of Bluegrass band competition last week. The winners show a decided strength in those nations’ bluegrass scene.

1st place: Mideando String Quintet from Italy
2nd place: 4Wheel Drive from The Netherlands
3rd place: Bononia Grass from Italy

1st place: 4Wheel Drive from The Netherlands
2nd place: Blue Grass Boogiemen from The Netherlands
3rd place: Rawhide from Belgium
