Del Fest in photos

Photographer Bill Merlavage was at the recent Del Fest. The festival persevered through much rain and mud, and so did Bill. He’s posted over 300 photos of the event on his website, and they are great photos. If you were there and want to relive it through photos, take a look. If you didn’t make it and you want a glimpse of what it was like, here you go.

Be sure to visit Merlavage Images to see all 300 photos.

    Blue Grass Boys circa 1966

Scott Tichenor, proprietor of Mandolin Cafe, shot us a note about some photos published yesterday on his site. Cafe member John Fields posted several pictures he took of Bill Monroe on tour in England during 1996, which he had waylaid and only recently rediscovered. They show Big Mon with Richard...

    IBMA photos

We've heard from a number of readers who were unable to view the photo galleries we had posted from IBMA last week. It seems to have been restricted to users of Internet Explorer 7, though not all IE 7 users were affected. In any event, we have modified the code to remove the tag that caused this...
