As I read liner notes, bluegrass books, see bands and talk to musicians about influences, I'm again and again reminded of the incredible bluegrass history from in and around the D.C. area. My head was immediately filled with names of musicians and bands that I would like to see at this event. I only wish those who have gone on were around to pick and sing: Buzz Busby, Red Allen, John Duffey, etc...
