		<description>As someone born in Georgetown, D.C. and raised in Springfield, Virginia I&#039;m thrilled to hear about this new event.  As I read liner notes, bluegrass books, see bands and talk to musicians about influences, I&#039;m again and again reminded of the incredible bluegrass history from in and around the D.C. area.  My head was immediately filled with names of musicians and bands that I would like to see at this event.  I only wish those who have gone on were around to pick and sing: Buzz Busby, Red Allen, John Duffey, etc...</description>
