David Peterson LIVE at WHUS — Sunday, November 26th

This Sunday, please make plans to join us as we welcome Massachusetts native David Peterson to WHUS and the Red Rooster Party and Bluegrass Cafe. Dave will be visiting the homefolks for the holiday, so we thought it might be nice to bring him in for a little live music and conversation. This won’t be the full 1946 band — just Dave and his guitar — but we think it will be an enjoyable visit.
The Bluegrass Cafe will be preempted for a UCONN Men’s Basketball game beginning at 5PM, but you’ll be able to hear Dave with us starting about 3:30PM. Of course, we invite you to tune in to Jim & Marti’s Red Rooster Party at 2PM on WHUS — they play all sorts of Americana roots music, everything from J.E. Mainer’s Mountaineers to the Carter Family and Roy Rogers to the Statler Brothers each Sunday from 2-4PM, followed by Bluegrass Cafe from 4-7PM. If you can’t pick up our signal the “traditional” way (91.7 on your FM dial), do listen to the streaming audio at www.whus.org.

Finish your holiday weekend with some great music.
Happy Thanksgiving -
Amy, Jim, & Marti
