David Davis – Two Dimes And A Nickel
May 5 is the release date for, Two Dimes and a Nickel, the new Rebel album from David Davis & The Warrior River Boys.
The CD was produced by Davis, with some assistance from his guitar player, Adam Duke, and Otis Lynn Dillon, lead engineer at River Track Studio in Fort Gay, WV.
In anticipation of next month’s release date, Rebel sent along an audio sample from the title track. The song was written by Alan Johnston, and tells of the now familiar legend of John Hardy, who reputedly killed a man over $.25.
The Warrior River Boys are made up of David Davis on mandolin/lead vocals, Marty Hays on upright bass, Owen Saunders on fiddle, Robert Montgomery on banjo, and Adam Duke on guitar.


David Davis was interviewed recently by Alabama Arts Radio for a broadcast on August 23.
