The Lowell Folk Festival in Lowell, MA takes place July 29-31. The sole ambassador of bluegrass music at this year’s event is Dale Ann Bradley.

Like her eastern Kentucky sisters and predecessors, Dale Ann is blessed with a voice rich with emotion and force, and she keeps a top-notch band. She sings traditional songs, but a major portion of her singing nowadays is from her own experience.
Dale Ann will be performing several times on Saturday Afternoon. The festival is free to attend. WGBH radio, 89.7 FM on the dial, will be broadcasting live from the event that day and plans to carry at least one of Dale Ann’s performances. They are also streaming their broadcast from their website.
