		<description>Thank you, Richard Thompson, for a funny, informative, and deeply moving tribute.  I love the traditional sound, but, in many ways, John Duffey was my Bill Monroe.  This piece made me feel his loss -- and those of the other once and future Gents -- all over again.

Humor leavens the sadness, though:  One wonders how Jean Redpath and Bill Monroe would have &quot;played against&quot; each other, as Monroe used to put it.

I only wish I could be at Watermelon Park to see the musical one.  Here&#039;s hoping other posters will provide reports on the show.</description>
