Colorado Case announces merger
Colorado Case Company has announced an agreement to purchase Cavallaro Case Covers, makers of the Small Dog Case Cover line. The merger is expected to be concluded by July 1, 2007, with the Medford, MA facilities of Cavallaro being relocated to Fort Collins, CO where Colorado Case is headquartered.
Both companies have specialized in manufacturing soft, padded instrument case covers, with Colorado Case focusing on direct consumer marketing, and Cavallaro working primarily through a network of retail dealers. Colorado Case also offers rigid cases made in the US, and also offers a variety of hard cases imported from manufacturers all over the world.
Steve Simmons of CO Case shared these thoughts about the purchase.
“The synergy and efficiencies created by this merger are significant and strategically empowering. We hope to continue to serve Cavallaro’s existing customer base through improved e-commerce opportunities, an enhanced product line and a strong customer service team.”
The merger will also greatly expand the CO Case offerings to include the brass and woodwind instruments in addition to their wide variety of cases and case covers for stringed instruments.
