Cactus Garden video

Reed KD - In Case The Comet ComesHere is a cute video from Reed KD from his new album, In Case The Comet Comes. Reed is a young singer-songwriter from California with folk and bluegrass influences in his pop-oriented music.

The video is for the song Cactus Garden, and it’s a clever visualization of the story with puppets playing the instruments and singing the song. I mean a puppet farmer playing the banjo and a pair of puppet rabbits tag-teaming a fiddle… how could you go wrong?

YouTube Preview ImageYou can hear the rest of the tracks at CD Baby or in iTunes.Reed has a number of photos on his blog of he and his family creating the puppets and constructing the set. That is clearly a very creative bunch of folks.

    Grasstowne Fan Fest video

Grasstowne made quite a splash at IBMA last week, partly because it was the first chance a great many people in bluegrass had to see and hear them perform live.
