“born again” songs
I love to hear new songs, but i really flip when i hear an old traditional tune with a new spin. I still believe the most beautiful melodies ever written are hymns from the 1700’s. We always try to include at least one old tune on our recordings. We must never forget the old songs that brought us to where we are today. I am inspired to write new songs after listening to old recordings, such as prisoners singing spirituals and old mountaineers singing the foot stomping appalachian tunes of old. If you are an artist, try to make an old song new again on your next recording.

Next Tuesday (March 24) is the release date for Signs, the latest Pinecastle release from Special Consensus....
If you've ever wanted to sing bluegrass harmony and didn't know how to learn, or if you've been trying...
