Bluegrass Puppy!
Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike have a special guest on the bus this weekend. The band picked up a golden retriever puppy from friends in Cochran, Ga. “Georgia Peaches,” as the puppy was aptly dubbed, is on her way to the Heinike farm in Bell Buckle, Tenn., to be spoiled rotten by all of J. Greogry’s grandkids.
VSLP had two shows in the Peach State this weekend: The first was on Thursday night at the Magnolia Theater in Eastman, Ga., where the band began filming a music video for “Whisper Baby,” which has been doing very well on the Bluegrass Unlimited and Roots Music Report radio airplay charts.
The band’s second performance was Friday evening to a nearly sold-out crowd at Randy’s Pickin’ Parlor in Bloomingdale, Ga., a musical legend in the Savannah area and home to Randy Wood’s fine instruments.

Valerie Smith and her musical crew are back home after a fun-filled Bell Buckle Music Cruise of the Caribbean...
