Barry Scott signs with Rebel

Barry Scott & Second Wind - Barry Scott & Second Wind have signed with Rebel Records.

Rebel will release the band’s current Gospel project, In God’s Time, in Spring 2009 with a new, secular album to follow later in the year.

Barry was a member of Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver for nine years, leaving the group two years ago to focus on his solo career.

Joining him in Second Wind are Matthew Munsey on mandolin, Travis Houck on resonator guitar, Zane Petty on banjo, and Jason Leek on bass. Scott is on guitar and lead vocals.

These guys deserve to be heard around the world. Barry’s has many year of experience as a singer, songwriter, musician. His supporting cast (Jason Leek, Mathew Munsey, Travis Houck, & Zane Petty) compliments him very well. On top of all of this they exhibit great character.
