Banjo picking on Bizarre Foods
The Travel Channel has a block of shows tonight (5/5) from their popular Bizzare Foods with Andrew Zimmern program. The premise of the show is that the host travels far and wide to sample some of the most unusual – and often terrifying or repulsive – cuisine in each far flung locale.
The 10:00 p.m. edition (EDT) has Zimmern venturing into The Smoky and Appalachian Mountains for some varmint eatin’.
In one of the segments, where the host is treated to some possum, racoon and bear, a bluegrass band entertains, featuring pickers from the Pigeon Forge, TN area. Should be worth a look, yes?

This weekend's Knee Deep In Bluegrass show with Cindy Baucom is, as one might expect, her annual Christmas edition. This year, the Christmas show will feature a very special co-host, Cindy's husband, Terry Baucom, banjo man with Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.
Cindy and Terry will spend the two hour program...
