Banjo Guinness Record photos
As promised, John Drummond sent along some photos of the Guinness Record event last night at Turner Field in Atlanta. They were all taken by Bill Massey.
Here the 238 banjo players who participated in the event run through their group version of Foggy Mountain Breakdown with the conductor.
Here are several of the assemblage on the field during the record-setting rendition.
Below is a great shot of the banjo players celebrating when they made it past the five minute mark and finished their tune, and John Drummond getting his ultimate reward for organizing this event – a personal autograpgh from Earl Scruggs.
Again, congratulations to all the pickers who took part in this, and to the folks at Banjo.com and The Atlanta Braves for making it happen.
