Band trading deadline moves
As always seems to happen this time of year, a number of top bluegrass bands are making personnel changes.
Aaron McDaris is leaving The Grascals, and Kristin Scott Benson will be leaving Larry Stephenson’s band to accept the job. She will start with The Grascals in two weeks.
The guys are stoked to have Kristin on board…

We just received news of the arrival of Hogan Wayne Benson, who was born on October 6, 2006. His parents are Kristin Scott Benson, banjo picker with Larry Cordle & Lonesome Standard Time, and Wayne Benson, mandolinist with The John Cowan Band.

The Grascals have just announced that Aaron McDaris will be their new banjo player. He has been working this past six years with Larry Stephenson, and has a solo project, First Time Around, on Pinecastle Records.
