At the same time, you would be helping the victims of the hurricane disasters on the Gulf Coast, as the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the American Red Cross.

In addition to the autographed mandolin, the winning bidder will get a hard shell case, a new Korg CA-30 tuner, a strap and a Nickel Creek songbook. The mandolin was donated by Erin Zagursky, a Nickel Creek fan who wanted to do his part to help those who are suffering in New Orleans and others in that region whose lives were disrupted by the hurricanes.
