I was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of teenagers running around the Convention Center with instruments. Whoever these kids were having the impromptu jam session on the bottom floor, they were something else. Even Ken Irwin was sitting down listening to them. Nobody needs to worry about the future of Bluegrass.

Well that could be some CBA kids, Angelica and Scott and the rest of the Pacific Ocean Bluegrass Band! They love bluegrass music and The CBA is very proud to have watched the enormous talent of these kids grow in such a profound way. Much can be said for the Kids on Stage program started by Frank Solivan I, where many of the kids got such a taste for performing.

You also posted a picture of Frankie Nagel of the Lost Coast/Donner Mountain Band, playing her banjo. You neglected to post a picture of Annie Stenanac, a most amazing fiddler...she's dazzeling and a monster player...lives to play bluegrass.

Yeah, the kids know how to play!
