Adam Haynes to Larry Stephenson
Well that didn’t take long…
Adam Haynes is barely gone from Dailey & Vincent, and has now hooked up with The Larry Stephenson Band. He’ll be playing fiddle and sharing in the vocal duties along with Kyle Perkins on bass, Kevin Richardson on guitar, Kenny Ingram on banjo and Stephenson on mandolin and lead vocals.
Adam had also worked with James King, Melvin Goins and David Parmley in addition to his time with Dailey & Vincent, and his work as a teenager with his kinfolk in The Haynes Family Band.
Larry is also celebrating the imminent release of his next CD, entitled 20th Anniversary. Can you guess the theme of this album?
Guest artists includes many former members of Stephenson’s band, plus artists he has worked with and admired over the years – 20 to be exact. David Parmley, Dudley Connell, Dailey & Vincent, Ricky Skaggs, Del McCoury, Dale Ann Bradley and Marty Stuart and Connie Smith all contribute vocals to this project, as do Ronnie Reno and Sonny Osborne.
Aubrey Haynie plays some fiddle and Kristin Scott Benson some banjo along with the current members of Larry’s band (less Adam).
